0:41.4	Did we just make a holiday up because Labor Day is considered the unofficial end of summer?

0:53.3	Let's talk a little bit about Labor Day and why we are here.
0:57.6	I want to take you back to the late 1800s.
1:00.6	It's the height of the industrial revolution in the United States.
1:04.9	The average American is working 12 hour days, seven days a week, just to make a living.
1:13.7	Despite laws and restrictions that are out there, children as young as five and six
1:17.8	are actually working in mills, factories and mines across the country, earning a fraction
1:23.8	of what their adults are earning in the same jobs.
