Public displays of emotional distress are becoming so common that we are mistaken common for normal.

Common is not necessarily normal. God has given all of us the same opportunity to develop the fruit of the spirit, which includes that fruit of temperance. Temperance is either going to

make things better for us, or the lack of it will make us a woman who has a lot of trouble

controlling her emotions. This is such an intemperate society where a lack of

self-control is really just explained away or else it's written off as hormones or a character

flaw, but the truth is we lose control by choice, not by some organic health accident. Are you a drama

mama? Do you have drama going on in your life right now?

Drama is mainly a distraction designed to keep our focus on trivial matters. And those distractions

can keep us from becoming all that God wants us to be. When we're engaged in drama, we're not
