My name is Chad Himes and I am joined by my friend Bob Stewart.

Bob what's our word for today?

Chad, today's word is understanding.

Okay, before we hear more about that Bob, let's understand where we are in the series

that's going on.

So we are on our fifth part of the emotional intelligence series and we are diving deep

into the fourth piece of emotional intelligence, which is empathy.

So Bob, empathy is something everybody should have and you're talking about understanding.

Yeah, so like let's your a sociopath, like at some level you have empathy, right?

If kind of presented with it or if you slow down enough to think about that, that, you

know, that other person, right?

And again, let's your a sociopath, like, you know, you have the capability to be empathetic,

but a lot of times, we're just the world we live in, things are moving so fast, you're

you don't, you don't stop enough to even think about it.

You don't look around and see the impact you're having.

And so if at the, the kind of root of everything you, you, you seek to understand or you're

looking for that understanding, even, even beyond kind of the obvious situations where,

where it pops up, I think is powerful and you'll hear some of these stories that Ben tells
