Welcome to Unaborted with Seth Gruber. Thank you guys for tuning in today. Recently we did an episode called Abortion is idolatry and abortion is genocide and I talked about the historical comparisons between abortion and historically recognized forms of genocide, but I also talked about the history a little bit of child sacrifice and abortions parallels with human and child sacrifice.

And we talked about some of the individuals who have defended that pagan writers who have admitted that abortion is sacred, that it's the sacrifice of children to pagan deities.

And there's the history of child sacrifice in the Old Testament where the Israelites were sacrificing their children to the Canaanite god Molok or Baal in return for a blessing.

I think these are historical lessons that we have forgotten in America and in the church and the parallels with abortion are striking and they're chilling.

And I want to dive more into that. We're going to start diving into more of those ideas on this show because we want to wake up the church to end the abortion of the lambs. And if pastors or shepherds and shepherds are supposed to protect the flock, then I think there's a lot that our shepherds and our churches in America today can learn from the history of human and child sacrifice and how God feels about human sacrifice.

I think you'll find some of the most colorful language in scripture when God rails against his people's complicity and child sacrifice.

And so today I wanted to bring on my friend William J. Federer, Bill Federer, a American historian, a brother, a born again believer who has been such a gift to the body of Christ.
