Hi, and welcome to the Five Word Prayers Daily, a five day a week, daily, daily devotional where we share the word, prayers, and our heart.

I'm Lisa Whittle, and I welcome you to just five minutes with me, which I trust and pray will be

five minutes well spent. So we're at the midway point in the week in our real life parenting

week, been talking about some important issues like friendship, dating, and heartbreak, and

how to help our kids through that. And today I want to talk to you about something some of you requested, and I think it's

such an important thing to discuss, the issue of bullying and how as a parent to really deal

with that.

It's heavy when your child is being made fun of or put down.

And I have a really hard time with this because my justice meter goes crazy over it.

I get very angry, I'll admit. So let's jump into

this important topic in a minute. So bullying is a huge problem for a lot of kids across the

world and it's a tender, tough subject, but I want to try to tackle it. I wish I had more time.

There's so many things we could talk about. But let me say,

I'm coming at all these topics in parenting from my own parenting experience of 20 years,

not a counselor or a self-proclaimed expert. But I've been around the block a few times raising

both boys and a girl. And I know the baby stuff, though it's been a while, the toddler stuff,

which is really a busy age, the middle school stuff, so much angst there, the high school stuff

with growing pains and now even the young adult stage. Every stage has its challenges, but one of
