Notre Dame fans, welcome back to another edition of the Irish Breakdown podcast. It's Thursday,

February 13th. I don't know what it's like down in Indianapolis right now, Treb, but it is snowy.

It's actually kind of the pretty snow. You know, it's still kind of early and fluffy.

Like it makes my wife want to go snowboarding kind of snow. You know what I mean? Beautiful,

beautiful snow outside.

I love snow when it's outside. I don't like being outside in the snow, but it's a beautiful

snowy day today. Got my dogs upstairs relaxing. And, man, I'm ready to talk some Notre Dame football.

We are going to have a fun show for y'all today. That's Trevor Trovorjohn bryan driscoll we are happy to that you all are with us

today and trev we are going to have two different conversations today that i'm that i'm looking

forward to and then we'll also have a mailbag so y'all get those questions in now if you want us to do

a mailbag at the end of the show just put an mb on there or not or a mailbag emoji or you can put a super chat obviously that'll get you to the top of

the list but the first show today we're going to kind of do a replace and reload show which is

you know look we believe that Notre Dame is in a position where for the most part they are reloading

as opposed to rebuilding and that's true as a team and that's true on a position by position standpoint.

But the position that we really wanted to focus on kind of first as we get into this

series is the safety position, because that is the one position where they're reloading,

but the task is the most difficult because Notre Dame has to replace Xavier Watts.

And we'll talk about how they're going to do that.

And the different complexities that go into replacing Xavier Watts because it's not

just about replacing his production.

There's a lot more to it.

When we're done with that segment, we are going to jump into our IB top 25.
