Summary

0:55.8	1998, middle of our thing, it was set in an office. It was like an office sort of a

1:24.9	Cougan law, right? The Cougan law? The child, I guess, I guess there's some Hollywood law where you
1:31.7	can't work a kid to death. And I think that was based on, you know, that's funny. I didn't know
1:39.2	that. Yeah, there's a thing in in Hollywood. What was that actor's name? It was a child actor.
1:45.4	The last name Cougan is what it was. Yeah, but I can't. I can't remember. I think he was on
1:50.7	the little rascals or something. That's right. That's right. Something like that. Yeah.
1:54.6	Jimmy Cougan, maybe, or I can't remember. Yeah. It's one of those. But anyway, he made all this
2:00.2	money as a kid. And his parents spent all the money. So by the time he turned 18, he had nothing.
2:06.2	He had no money. And so they passed the law on the state of California that children,
2:11.6	child actors, you have to set up what's called a Cougan account. Right. So that percentage,
2:17.9	I think it's like 25% of your paycheck has to be put in that that no one can touch and accept
2:24.8	you until you're 18. Oh, okay. So this has nothing to do with like excessive hours on the set.
