Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for, especially for little Eli Skok, who is improving.

They took out his chest tube today, but he needs to get his appetite up, but I think the power of the Rosary is helping him through,

as well as the countless people on our prayer list, our first meditation.

Lent began with Ash Wednesday when we were marked by ashes and heard the words.

Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return, or

repent and believe in the gospel. We should recall often our death

because one day we will face our particular judgment.

And the brute fact is that sin destroys the happiness we all long for.

So if we want to be happy, then we need to turn away from sin. That is why the

first and essential message of John the Baptist, Jesus, the Apostles, and our Lady in all the modern approved Marion apparitions, is this.

Repent and believe in the Gospel.

We are five seventh of the way through Lent, the time to repent and believe, to turn away from

sin and live the will of God. Lent is about conversion. It's about change. We should always be changing. In these days,

with less distractions, personally, I've been reflecting on my life. On all those times I thought I was

right or I was justified in my sinful actions that originated in my pride, envy, anger, sloth, greed, gluttony, lust, fear, etc.

This reflection, this examination, has caused a real sorrow for my sin and the wreckage it caused,

and it has led me to a real desire for change,

because I want to be happy and I want those around me to be happy.
