Summary

Thomas Dimitroff and Jim Mora, Sr. Super Bowl XLVII is in the rear view mirror, but there is no offseason in the National Football League. The 2013 NFL Scouting Combine begins later this week at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis where more than 300 of the best college football players will converge in an effort see their draft stock rise while trying to impress coaches, scouts and general managers from all 32 teams. So who better for Rich to first chat with than friend of the podcast, Atlanta Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff. Dimitroff pulls back the curtain on what the week is like from a front office perspective and what the Falcons as an organization are trying to achieve throughout the week in Indianapolis to set them up for success at April's NFL Draft. Up next, the podcast crew welcomes back the REP's official movie reviewer, former NFL coach Jim Mora, Sr. Coach Mora dials in for his annual Academy Awards preview and breaks down who he thinks will be taking home OSCAR on Hollywood's biggest night. It’s a fun chat with our resident film buff that should get you geared up for next week when "The Rich Eisen Podcast" gets Gronk'd. That’s right, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will be our official Academy Awards correspondent, getting interviews with all the stars from the OSCARS Red Carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. You can watch Gronk take over the red carpet on the television edition of "The Rich Eisen Podcast" that airs Thursday of combine week at 8:30 p.m. ET on NFL Network. Lastly, don't forget to submit your videos for the #RunRichRun campaign. After the hilarious videos that came piling into NFL Network last year during the inaugural #RunRichRun, we've decided to bring it back for the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine and Rich's annual running of the 40-yard dash. It’s simple, just follow these steps: Wear your work clothes. Run the 40. At work. Film it. Just do it safely please... we don’t want anyone to get hurt. Then upload your video at nfl.com/runrichrun OR if you are the social media type, tweet @nflnetwork and use the hashtag #RunRichRun with a link to your video. The best and worst videos will be featured on-air during the NFL Scouting Combine coverage on NFL Network just before Rich’s epic run. You’ll also be entered to win a $200 NFL Shop Card AND an autographed copy of Rich’s book, "Total Access: A Journey to the Center of the NFL Universe." For official rules – visit nfl.com/runrichrun – no purchase necessary. Enjoy, and as always, thanks for downloading!
