On August 20th, 1986, a post office employee killed 14 people in Edmund, a suburb of Oklahoma City.

The man went back and forth with the police until finally turning his gun on himself.

And the incident itself was broadcasted on all the news outlets.

Four days earlier, on August 16th, a different tragic crime had taken place in Edmund.

Gary Larson had been murdered in his own home.

And his fiance was raped repeatedly, but she survived.
