they refer to one another as each other's cheerleaders. Both of them are

interior designers who have transformed their rental space into stunning and functional homes.

We had our conversation at the height of lockdown while Africa was still pregnant with her third

baby, and we chatted about the importance of making a house a home, even if those four walls

don't belong to you. We looked at the UK's fixation with

home ownership and challenged the notion that renting is throwing away money. This is particularly

relevant because nine million people in the UK are in rented accommodation and I loved having
