Roger DeCoster retiring as Team USA MXDN team manager, and lots to get into when it comes to that. So thanks for listening. Appreciate it. Rentall.com. You know the name. This guy works at Renthal. Team USA News. This guy worked for Team USA for a few years.

So, yeah.

Lots to dive into for sure, I guess. But,

I mean, first off, like, DeCoster retiring, the man is a legend in the sport. He's an icon.

Team USA would not have been back, going back to Motorcross the Nations in 1981 without him.

And for many, many, many, many years, Roger was the face of the team.

And also his contacts in Europe are invaluable.

There's not enough sort of time or words to talk about all the things that he's done good for Team USA.

But also on the flip side, I'm not going to be a hypocrite because on my shows across

the time, Paul, I've been saying like, hey, political reasons, conflict of interest,

different reasons.

It was more time to move on from Raj.

And I wondered why the AMA was not doing it for many years and you know look he deserves

all the plaudits that we can give him but it was time Paul in my opinion yeah um yeah

Steve I mean obviously I know Roger I've worked with him and yeah I know a bit about what's going on

here a little bit I guess and um but I'm with you like I don't want to hip, but either. I do think it was time. But at the same time, yeah, like when I worked with Roger and he's on Team USA, I mean, you really, you said it. I don't have much more to add. His contacts in Europe are invaluable. What he's done for the sport and the sport in America and bringing

Team USA to that event and making it a high priority for our country and for our fans, that's

all Roger. And that's why I believe he has remained in that position this entire time, because

how do you ask a guy like that to leave? And I think that was, you know, that obviously became a thing, a little bit, a talking point. I mean, some of the OEMs were not happy, right? Let's face it. Some of the other OEMs were not happy. Yeah. Yeah. And I mean, you know, with working with him, like, there's no, there wasn't any, like, real political like politics going on within the team on race day and how things were working but but i yeah
