Well, Christine, I want to kick off this hour talking about something that so many people are struggling with in today's America, and that is rent prices.

0:19.3

Here's an article from Axios.com. I'm going to read the

0:22.0

headline in my own way because this is a family-friendly show. Data shows the rent is still

0:27.5

too dang high. Oh, yeah, it says the average American household is now considered rent burden

0:34.6

with a record share of renters spending more than 30% of income on rent each

1:27.2

And so we wanted to give you guys

1:28.4

some practical things you can do. There's no magic trick here. There's no silver bullet. I'm not

1:33.8

going to give you some life hack. These are all things that take compromise, sacrifice. They're not

1:38.6

fun, but it will put you in a better financial situation. Yeah. And we just empathize because we got

team members here

1:44.9

who've had to move because it's like all of a sudden their landlord raised their rent or their
