Now yesterday we talked about Romans 12 verse number two where it says do not be

conformed to the pattern of this world any longer, but rather be transformed by the renewal

of your mind.

We talked on a general level about what it means that we transform our minds.

How do we do that?

Well, I thought today it might be helpful

for us to dig into some current examples,

some things we all can relate to, that would help us to see what it means

on a practical level to renew our minds.

Let's take the culture that we live in. We live in a culture that

glorifies the individual. I mean just look at social media for that example.

I mean what are we supposed to do? Well we're supposed to

take selfies, we're supposed to promote ourselves in different ways, make ourselves
