Back to School Time.

I hope everyone's hanging in there.

I have a feeling a lot of you probably get excited about back to school.

Today was actually Remy's first day back to school.

They start a bit later here

in Mexico City because I think my understanding is that they have more days off throughout the year.

We have more little surprise, no school today, like the last Friday of every month and other

days like that. So, which we don't mind. It's been great. But yeah, it was all, it was pretty smooth sailing for the

most part. Yeah, it was great. Great summer. I think we enjoyed having our monkey in the house.

Yeah, we really did. And he seems very excited to go back to school. He had a little bit of a bitter,

sweet morning. And last night, he was a little emotional. He was getting

used to staying home. But he's such a social butterfly that he's thriving. Yeah, it went great.

I was feeling a bit like a little bit of mom guilt because I found out when we went the other day

to school that you can opt into kind of prepaid lunch service. And I was like, hell yeah, wait. That means, you know, like the month of October, I really excel as a mom with lunch because I like to do fun little Halloween things in the lunch. And then other than that, I get kind of, you know, it's always the beginning of the school year. And then you get kind of burned out on it, right? Like you're not cutting strawberries. Everything was fresh at the beginning and at the end, everything came in a package. I'm sure we're all that way. Yeah, for the most part, right? Like some days, I'm sure the teacher's like, what is going on in their refrigerator today? But they have this great lunch service at school. it's quite affordable. And Fran and I were like, why not? Let's try it. The hard part is you don't know what they don't finish. So like I don't know what he doesn't eat at the end of the day. And I always like to check his lunchbox and see. But it's so funny at this age at three years old. I don't know for those of you that have kids like officially in pre-K now is what he's in, but I look at their schedule for the day. And I'm like, so what do they do exactly? I mean, it makes sense because it's kind of like, you know, I don't want to say like glorified child care, but sort of, right? I mean, it's more fancy child care. No, no, no, no. I think it's more like glorified child care, but sort of, right? I mean, fancy child care. No, no, no. I think it's more like

glorified vague care. Like he has yoga, recess, lunch, art, and that's it. And I was like, wow,

that's a nice, that's a nice day. No, I think it's great. I think no, we're super happy with the

little school. We couldn't be happier. Honestly, it's so cute. And we've met a lot of nice parents. But yeah, it was a nice morning. It's nice to also be like, wow, we're going to be back in a little bit of a schedule again. Yeah, I've been looking forward for that. I've been enjoying my kid, having him in the house a lot, but it's time to regain that time back.

Yeah, I had grand plans today of like, I'm going to organize my closet since it was, we're recording this today, so it's actually Labor Day. So everyone in the U.S. is off work, but it's like a normal day here. And I was like,
