incredible company, Seer. And we're going to talk about identifying what inner fears with what

I have an incredible scholar but also rare enough a serial entrepreneur Omed for RogueZod,

0:46.7

chair and CEO, founder of Seer. And he deals and I hope I pronounce this right Omed. It's proteomics

1:37.1

So if you imagine the genes are the loose transcript of your information that the body has,

1:45.4

the proteins are those information in the context of their function. So virtually anything that

1:51.6

happens in the body happens because one protein or a group of proteins coming together to form

1:57.3

a modules come together and they exert a function. So for example enzymes that break things down

2:04.7

or molecules that allow different things to cross the cell membrane just about anything.

2:12.8

Disease health, they're changing in protein that basically dictates how the body functions.

2:19.8

And the study of the proteome is to study the totality of this information in health and disease

2:26.8

you know for clinical or for translational use.
