I am looking along your host and today my husband Alex is preaching about removal.

There's things in our life that God is going to remove once you get to know him and there's

a scene in Hercules the Disney movie where Hercules gives his life for Meg and to do so

he has to do a deal with Hades.

Hades means death and Hercules is a picture of God and man, the picture of Jesus and

Meg is a picture of us, the church, the bride of Christ and to save Meg Hercules gives

his life and he shakes the hand of Hades and when he shakes hands with death his power

leaves him and he basically just dies.

When I look at that scene, seeing what was removed from Hercules, all this godliness,

this power was removed from him and it's a picture of when Jesus is on the cross, sin

and death touched him and he died.

It was like he was disappearing, it was like he was like disintegrating, Psalms 22 likens

it to a worm and becoming like a worm and he did that to remove from us our sin and

there's so many, sin has its tentacles in every area of our life and so there's a lot

that God is removing from you when he removes sin and death and his wrath from you which

happened on the cross and so we're going to get into what he removes, the problem with

removal and how to get removal and I think you're going to be really encouraged and freed

by today's episode so let's get into it, it's Matthew chapter 8 verses 14 through 17.
