Hey everyone, in the run-up to season six of Holy Ghost Stories, we shared a different one of what

you're about to hear each day for a week. It's a remixed scene, a scene from an episode of

Holy Ghost Stories recut with music that's a little different than the usual orchestral score.

These remixed scenes are usually just for patrons, but we thought we'd share a few with everybody

as we looked

forward to season six. Usually, Holy Ghost Stories brings you into the world of the stories of

the Old Testament. I feel like these remixed scenes bring those folks into our world, and I think

ado here's one for you amongst the weary parade of captives four boys 15 years old or so

handsome walk side by side friends obviously judging by the way they whisper to one another,

the way they wrestle like puppies during the moments when the caravan stops for water, the way

they laugh with one another when one of their adolescent voices cracks.

The horrors of being pulled, screaming from your your home are not to be trivialized,

but this adventure is probably in some ways a reprieve from the constant sense of destiny put upon them by their elders.

You are meant to become someone, to contribute, to lead.

Destiny, though, is not that easily defeated. If such was their lot in Judah, it will only be able to be, to lead. Destiny, though, is not that easily defeated.

If such was their lot in Judah, it will only be more so in Babylon.

We are outside, and we're in charge, we do a little different way.

We're lighter, we're stronger, we praise the boys and proud Here I'm outside

That is who we are

And we know that we are here to stay
