Hello and welcome to the fried egg podcast today with the 2022 PGA championship at Southern Hills approaching.

We are looking back on Phil Michelson's win at the 2021 PGA championship and trying to put it in the context of all the crazy stuff that has happened since then.

And with me today are two people who just so happened to be at the ocean course at Kiowa Island that week in May 2021.

First of all, Brendan Porath, when people ask you what you do at the fried egg, what do you say? Like what have you started to say?

I don't have a good answer to that. I help around the shop. I'm glad to be here and honored to be here. I don't know, help around the shop.

I do a podcast with the Andy as people are aware of the shotgun start, but just try to not get in the way.

I think that's what we all do. And Andy, how are you doing today?

I'm doing great. We're bringing flashback Friday over to the fried egg here.

We're doing a flashback from a year ago on fried egg. I feel like we should be doing a precision pro ad read right now.

Well, we just did it right there.

So that is, of course, Andy Johnson, founder of the fried egg and Brendan and Andy are on the shotgun start podcast.

They do flashback Friday there. This has sort of that vibe. It is a flashback to a year ago, a moment that already feels historical.

I think one reason for that is that it feels like it was a long time ago in terms of the amount of stuff that has happened regarding Phil Mickelson since then.

Of course, he has imploded and, but I'm sure he's going to make a comeback soon, but all the Saudi golf league stuff has happened, et cetera, et cetera.

I think listeners are perfectly aware of all of that.
