Skullnick here with Chris Winningham. We did not have plans to podcast tonight,

but we felt that we should do this after the passing of former Dolphins coach Tony Sperano

at the age of 56. The news came down here earlier on Sunday. Tony, of course, was the coach of the

Dolphins from 2008 through the 13th game of the 2011 season.

He had an 11-and-5 season in 2008, what is known as the Wildcat season, a season which ended in the playoffs after the Dolphins won the division,

beating the Jets and Brett Faravre up at the Meadowlands

to win the AFC East in a year that Tom Brady was injured, but still a great accomplishment
