So, here on the team we saw this tweet from a gentleman called Simon Beale,

who is the head of history and politics at Vina's school in Ikenum.

Now the tweet said that he created a newscast quiz for his students and he used stories that were covered

on newscast last week. So what else are we going to do? True newscast style,

we're going to do the quiz. And Adam has managed to duck out of the quiz, obviously, and left

it to me to deal with and see if I can pass and to help me with

this we've got Simon the history teacher with this. Hello Simon.

Hello nigger how you doing? I'm a little bit nervous if I'm being

completely honest because I should know the answers as is always the case and very

rarely do I. We'll get to the quiz in a moment. Tell me though how does this work?

This is one great way of boosting

our numbers here for newscast yeah absolutely so I'm a bit I've been a big fan of

newscast for a long time when it was Brexit cast and then all the other

iterations of it and I just think it's a really

great way for students to access some really complex news stories in a fun

accessible way. The more I listened to it the more I found it allied with

elements of the course because what students that study

A level really need to know is the theory but really current examples that that

theory can be applied to and newscast I find really does that job really well.

So they're going to be judging your performance on newscast.
