This is a planned off week for AOM.

But as we head into the holiday season, Scott and I are feeling a little nostalgic.

And we started going back through some earlier anatomy of murder episodes.

And it's been fun for us to hear the evolution.

Because as we all know, things change with time.

And that means this podcast too.

As Addisiga and I have recorded five years years worth of cases now for AOM, which is

crazy to hear, but it's over 250 episodes at this point. So we thought, let's re-release episode

one. So if you hadn't heard it before, you could listen to it now to how we started, the first

AOM, or to hear it again if you've been with us from the

beginning. Listening to Heidi Jones, tell us the story about her mom Loretta and her murder

is really powerful and as compelling when we hear it now as it was when we first spoke to her

There was one time we were out, I was probably about six. We were out and we were going to the store

and a lady had stopped us out on the street, somebody that my grandma knew.

And she said, oh, now who's this?

And my grandma said, oh, well, this is my youngest.

This is Heidi.

And the lady said, oh, this is the granddaughter whose mother was murdered.
