Summary

Remembering Keith Nale
This week, we tragically lost a member of the Survivor family. Rob Cesternino pays tribute to Keith Nale, a two-time Survivor castaway taken far too soon. Rob talks with some of the Survivor alumni who got to play with Keith, and they share some of their favorite memories of him.
All of us at Rob Has a Podcast are thinking of everyone who got to know Keith through his time on Survivor, both on television and in person, his fellow castaways, friends, and the Nale family.

Hey, everybody. What's going on? Rob Cesternino here. And we have a special episode of the podcast

0:06.7

here today. Of course, everybody in the survivor community is devastated to hear about the loss

0:13.8

of Keith Nale this past week. And so I thought it would be a good spot to get a chance to talk

0:20.4

to some of the survivor players who got to have a experience on survivor with Keith Nale. And

0:29.7

the first person I reached out to is this person who's on the line with me. Kelly went worth

0:34.7

this year, played in two different seasons of survivor with Keith Nale. Kelly, how are you?

0:41.3

Hi, Rob. Thanks for having me. I wish we were talking under different circumstances.

0:46.0

Yes, for sure. Happy to be here and talk about Keith Nale, such as special characters,

0:52.0

such a wonderful person inside and outside of the game. So I'm happy that you invited me and we can

0:58.8

remember Keith through all the good times that we saw on our TV screens.

1:02.4

Yeah, I know. It's so sad. Nobody knew that this was like a possibility of this happening. It

1:11.7

was so out of nowhere. And I just think that people have such fond memories of him that I just

1:18.4

think that he is like one of the least polarizing survivor figure ever.

1:23.7

Yeah, I agree. I mean, if you tell me you're someone who does not like Keith Nale, then I would say

1:32.3

what's wrong with you. Keith is just so fun, a funny person. He was basically a comedian without

1:41.5

even meaning to be one. I feel like what fans saw Keith on television was his true authentic self.

1:48.5

I mean, he was one of those people when Jeff Prope says, be yourself. We want to know who you are.

1:52.6

We want to see you and just be who you are on survivor. That is Keith Tewetee. And even in

1:59.6

some of the fun, you know, funnier moments of gameplay, right? Because some people would say,

2:03.2

oh, Keith was some maybe the best strategist, but gosh, you know, you just loved him because of his

2:08.1

attitude and his authenticity. And yeah, very unexpected and really devastating. So yeah,

2:14.8

big loss for the community for sure. And you would say in your time with him that like what we saw
