Thanks, everybody, for being with us on what is a very difficult day around the hockey world,

especially Columbus, Calgary, New Jersey, all the places where Johnny Godro touched during his life and his career.

We're going to do our best to just kind of remember the guy that Johnny Goddra was.

And if you've been watching through the social media and the tributes rolling in,

it is very clear to see how beloved he was.

If you missed the news late last night, Johnny Goddrow and his brother, Matthew,

were out bicycling and were struck by a drunk driver and killed. And overnight, Greg and I

were a Pearl Jam last night, got home, and I saw someone in my, in my, what do you call it,

mentions anyway, said, is this Johnny Goddra rumor true? I was like, oh, and Johnny Godroga traded?

You know, your first thought, the last thing you think of is something horrible has happened.

Right, yeah. And then you start to see all the speculation that was going on and just hoping beyond hope that

it wasn't true and literally felt i fell asleep with my phone on my chest because i just been

refreshing all night and then woke up to the horrible news that uh it was true and uh it's gonna be a tough

show so we're here for you guys whatever you want to say in the chat

feel free and we're going to do our best to just kind of get through this and talk it out because

it's uh it's tragic yeah i mean it's it's it's incredibly sad and and you know you see what's uh

going around uh the internet today and in what's happening in Calgary and Columbus

and just kind of all the memories being shared and stories being shared about Johnny and

Matthew Godro and what they meant to hockey fans, what they meant to those communities that they played in,
