guest joining us this week for True Crime Tuesday, Jason Hammer, what

have the Hammer and Nigel show? And Hammer's gonna join us today as we're

coming up on the 24th anniversary of a horrible event in the city of Beach Grove,

the murder of police officer William Tony.

Bill Tony was a beloved member of the Beach Grove community.

It was a very big event.

He touched many, many people and as I, we're coming up on the 24th anniversary

of his horrific murder.

So it was a Friday night September 29th 2000 So basically 24 years ago, I was doing play by play at a high school football game

for the local community network and started to hear some chatter that there was a police shooting in Beach Grove.
