Spectrevision Radio I had talked to him a couple months ago, and it had been a while, but, because we, we, we, we, we, we spoke off and on over over the years, and he, I'm not joking,

you'll get this, and probably the listeners will too, when Billy Freakin says to you, I don't

know, I think Exorcist could have been better. I knew something who was not right, and he seemed,

he seemed kind of subdued and he talked about getting lunch eventually, but it it felt like it was not it was not to be i'm glad he finished his

film but i thought we should because he's he was he was a cut above i would yeah i think he was a

seminal figure in seven-of-dies filmmaking and and you know he had he know, he had his disappointments.

And he also had his persona, which I observed firsthand when I was at Warner Brothers.

He was making a picture called The Deal of the Century, which ultimately became one of his lesser lights.

But in order to deal with what he thought was studio interference,

he seemed to him go out of his way to make them think he was crazy.

And they were actually afraid to deal with him.

And I thought, boy, that's really a great point.

So I was never able to pull that off.

Yeah, he would do stuff like, I was just, you know,

there's been this wave of stuff that's been been coming out and I'd forgotten so much.

There was a great interview with him to live and die in LA disc where I think the statute of limitations has passed.

So he openly acknowledges that they hired one of the greatest, or the greatest counterfeiter, alive to work on the film,
