19 years ago on this day, at this very hour on this field, 40 brave men and women triumph over terror and gave their lives in defense of our nation.

Their names and their stories are forever inscribed on the eternal roll call of American heroes.

Today we pay tribute to their sacrifice, and we mourn deeply for the nearly 3,000 precious and beautiful souls

who were taken from us on September 11, 2001. To the family members of Flight 93, today every heartbeat

in America is wedded to yours. Your pain and anguish is the shared

grief of our whole nation. The memory of your treasured loved ones will inspire America

for all time to come. The heroes of Flight 93 are an everlasting reminder that no matter the danger,

no matter the threat, no matter the odds, America will always rise up, stand tall, and fight back.

So there it is the President of the United States, the greatest country in the world,

marking a very solemn occasion on today's show.

It is, of course, 19 years since September 11, 2001, the greatest terrorist attack we've ever

witnessed in this country.

And by great, I mean awful.

We are here today on a solemn occasion with some great Americans, to use the term more accurately,

Ari Fleischer will be here.

He is a former White House press secretary who was at President George Bush's side for the entirety of September 11th. He was

aboard Air Force One, which, as you know, was the only plane in the sky on that insane day. We're

going to relive it. We're going to re-gieve it. We're going to relearn what it means to be

Americans and be proud of this country because one of the things you've heard a lot on the show, and I say this every day, is, you know, we live in the greatest country in the world, and I've gotten very frustrated in my time covering politics that we've had a lot of moments where we have, in my opinion, forgotten the lessons of 9-11,

which is that, you know, at the end of the day, we're not really Republicans or Democrats,
