So let's start off with a guy that you have on your bench probably. you're thinking, should I or should I not start him this weekend?

And I'm going to say yes to

Eduardo Rodriguez of Chris Welsh's Arizona Diamondbacks. Last couple starts been really good for Rodriguez

over the last two starts. He's got a W 12 innings, 11 strikeouts, five walks, giving up just eight hits.

He's got a 105 whip and a 167 ERA. He's been utilizing that curveball quite a bit too. And Rodriguez has been pretty sharp most of the year. It's not a big strikeout pitcher, but we all know the one thing that always keeps giving, it's the New York Mets. And by giving, I mean giving losses. So they'll find a way to lose any game, which means Eduardo Rodriguez certainly has a chance to come away with the W. That bullpen is suspect. The offense is all over to place. The Mets are the Mets right now, and they're not a very good team. So I like Eduardo Rodriguez at home against my Mets, and we're kicking things off here with a real fun kind of Joey P versus Welsh matchup. Welsh, when you look around that starting pitcher landscape, I know last week we had some good names, Robleski was really good, he cashed on that bad boy. Who do you look at today that's maybe a fringe starter for the weekend that you feel good about? I can tell you, it's not great because I think there's a lot of studs that we have going out there. So what you're picking from feels a little bit thinner than usual. Now, I'm going to throw one

out that really feels uncomfortable. And this might be the last opportunity for this guy.

His ownership percentage is right around 50%, but I think this might even be a little bit misleading

because of his last start. And I'm talking about Bubba Chandler. Bubba Chandler has been pretty much nothing short of kind of a disaster this season.

He just walked seven against the Diamondbacks. He has a 17% walk rate. His K percentage has been

down. So like, why would we even care? One thing, I'm pretty encouraged that the Pirates

didn't immediately send him down and move
