Breakway is a Bible study recorded on the campus of Texas A&M University. We like you and the rest of the world, I found myself with just an obscene amount of alone time.

Now, I proudly count myself a part of the introverted of the world.

It doesn't mean that I don't like you. It doesn't mean that I don't like you.

It doesn't mean that I don't want to spend time with you.

It just means that I don't need you.

Okay?

I proudly consider myself a part of the introverted crowd.

And yet, even despite all of this alone time, like what you would think is an introvert's dream,

I found myself crawling the walls trying to get out of my place.

I had so much pent-up energy, so much restlessness, and I had to do something with it.

And so, like many of you and like the rest of the world, I took up a hobby.

I decided to take up golf.

Now, all of you here, regardless of whether or not you've ever found yourself in a T-box or on a fairway,

all of you can relate to this reality.

Golf is, it is just an incredibly difficult pastime, right? Like ladies, I don't know if you're hearing me right now and you're like, you know what, I can't really relate to this. But the truth of the matter is, you will relate to this. Because if it hasn't happened already, some guy is going to, he's going to show up and he's going to ask you on a date, right? And what's going to end up happening out of that date is he's going to think it's some grand surprise. He'll pick you up. He will drive you down six. You will pull off to the right and you will enter into grand station and you will play glow in the dark mini golf. And if you think that it sounds easy to take a little white dimpled ball and put it into a hole

think again it is impossibly difficult i'm saying this is someone that has been beaten down by

this sport so much and if you think it's hard 20 feet of green turf is difficult try doing 500 yards

of fairway it is in every sense of the word

punishing. Like there's no good way to start the learning process with golf. Like the best thing you can do is just get out there and do your best. But the reality is there's no basic like gaming instincts to help you figure it out.

Like there's not there's not any tools of the trade that you can start to do. There's no amount of

hustle or hard work that that, hey, you know what, I'll just play defense really hard. Like,
