Summary

This week on the podcast we are joined by singer, guitarist and—as we find out on this episode—actor, Stefan Babcock of the amazing punk band PUP! The three of us get into his short-lived extracurricular activity as an actor, discuss the time that he almost got kicked out of his own concert, Jonah and Stefan talk about their shared insecurities as musicians. We also get deep into the Mighty Ducks Universe, why it was Stefan's favorite movie as a kid growing up in Canada and how Disney managed to brainwash an entire generation of hockey-obsessed kids. (Sorry, but the Anaheim Ducks just aren't as cool.) We also discuss other classic sports movies from our childhood and reminisce about the senseless violence in comedy films of that era. Finally in a round of CHANGE DOT DORK we review petitions about making moshing an Olympic sport, the potential return of Tim Horton's grilled cheese sandwich and tipping etiquette at the Olive Garden. 1:02.3	studio and you could go off to the right down this hallway.
1:05.6	And I kind of knew the security people and I would kind of go back there after the show.

1:15.2	you can't go back here and I was like oh no it's fine I'm Vanessa's brother and he was like well I don't
1:20.2	know you and then Kenan came Thompson came walking down the hallway and the guy said to Kenan
1:26.3	Kenan this guy says he's Vanessa's brother. Do you know him? And Keenan just looked
1:31.4	at me and goes, I've never seen this guy before in my life.
1:35.5	And the guy believes in. He's like, no, I'm just kidding. Yeah, this is Vanessa's brother. He's
1:40.7	cool. But it was so funny because his instinct was literally just to make it
1:45.9	into a bit. And I was like, I was like, yeah, it was kind of stressful for me, honestly, but
1:50.8	looking back at the moment, it's so funny and I'm so happy he did that. So maybe we can introduce
1:55.9	today's guest and maybe get his take on that classic story. I would love that.
