0:15.0	Welcome to How Did We Get Weird. Jonah, so you were saying earlier today that you're experiencing the first snow of the year where you live.
0:35.1	Yep, we got some snow up here in the northeast. We haven't gotten it.
0:38.3	Usually we get it way earlier. I was driving home from work the other day and it was slow goings.
0:43.8	It was, yeah, driving in the snow, not fun. Not fun. Now, I have a question because I live in L.A.
0:48.9	where it doesn't really snow. So I'm curious, you know, when we were kids, the first snow of the year
0:54.1	was quite exciting.
0:57.0	And I feel like maybe as an adult, I'm just curious, how would you say those two things differ?
1:03.1	It's not as exciting as an adult.
1:04.7	Like most things, I'm thinking about driving. I'm thinking about my heating bill.
1:10.7	I'm thinking about, you know, yeah, it's not, it's not as excited. I mean, it's nice because it's hopefully it means a planet isn't completely melting. Right, right, right, right. So it's good that it's still happening. But it is, yeah, it definitely doesn't have the same novelty of wanting to go sledding, wanting to do fun stuff in the snow. It's more of like, okay, I got to shovel this stuff, where's the shovel, my back's going to be sore? It's a lot more adult stuff. So you're not really missing out that much. Yeah, I mean, I feel like the thing that I would get the most excited to do when it would start to snow was make a snow angel.
1:44.5	And now the idea of like doing that, I'm like, no way, Jose.
1:48.4	I don't want to lie down in the snow.
1:49.8	That sucks.
1:50.7	Right.
1:50.9	Then you got to do the laundry.
1:52.3	Then your clothes are all wet.
1:53.5	Yeah.
1:54.1	Yeah.
1:54.9	And also, I feel like when we were kids because we were from Cleveland and it was so cold there.
