Summary
This week the Bayer siblings are thrilled to welcome to the podcast their friend and star of shows like "Baskets" and "Euphoria," the delightful Martha Kelly! Not only do Martha and Vanessa use their comedy skills to punch up Jonah's new joke about texting, but Martha confesses to some ATM fraud she did score some pizza years ago, that still has her banned from one of our country's most popular banks. And speaking of, we dive deep into the time when Pizza Hut Personal Pan PIzzas hit the scene and the huge effect that had on Vanessa's favorite crew, the lunch crowd! Plus we reminisce on Pizza Hut dishes of yore, and Martha regales us with stories of her days delivering Domino's Pizza! And finally in a rousing game of CHANGE.DORK: PIZZA HUT EDITION, the trio must choose which Pizza Hut item they'd choose to come back between "Hershey's Dunkers," the "Priazzo" and "Spaghetti and Meatballs." (Spoiler alert: it is not spaghetti and meatballs.) So check out this delightful and delicious episode!!

| 0:11.0 | Who are euphoric to talk to today's guest? |
| 0:14.0 | Welcome to How Did We Get Weird? Jonah, I know we're very excited to talk to our guests today, but first, you message me over the weekend and said that you've got a great |
| 0:39.9 | stand-up bit about text messages. So before we introduce our guest and maybe workshop it a little |
| 0:46.3 | bit with her, would you mind explaining the bit? You know, sometimes the best, I mean, |
| 0:53.5 | the best humor can come from real-life situation. So I thought since I'm going to be talking to two professional comedians tonight, I could sort of bring up this thing that I thought was kind of funny. Like I thought I had, if I was ever going to go on stage, maybe we could work on it a little punch it up. Right. But I think it's got a lot of potential. |
| 1:12.6 | Okay. |
| 1:13.0 | And what, do you want to get into it yet or do you want to hold off until? |
| 1:17.8 | I think we can get into it and then maybe, yeah, we'll just get into it. |
| 1:21.5 | So here's a bit. |
| 1:22.3 | It's pretty simple. |
| 1:22.9 | It's short. |
| 1:24.0 | So I'm like, you know, hey, who out there? |
| 1:27.2 | You know, you get these text messages, right? |
| 1:28.7 | You like sign up for a mailing list. And then they're like, now we want your phone number. And then you're getting all these texts from these companies. So I'm like, oh, I get so many texts from these companies. Then I say, stop the text. And what happens? They text me again and say they're not going to text me. Shouldn't they just stop texting me? |
| 1:45.0 | Like, they're doing the thing that I'm asking them not to do when they confirm it. |
| 1:48.7 | Right. |
| 1:49.6 | That's the premise. |
| 1:51.0 | I don't have the wording down. |
| 1:52.7 | Okay, okay. |
| 1:53.4 | Well, let's introduce our guest today, and then we'll get into a quick, a punch-up session. |
