Nancy DeMas Walgamoos says a mom can lead her children and keep her cool.

When you know that God has made you the mother and that you may not be the best mother in the world,

but you are seeking to please the Lord, then you don't have to go into a tirade or rage yourself when your authority is challenged.

Give God time to act as he did in Moses and Miriam's case.

Let God handle your situation in the way that he deems best.

Nancy. Well, as you're listening to Revive Our Hearts on the radio, one of the things you can't experience is what happens in our little recording sessions in Little Rock at the studios here,

where we have about 40 women gathered to listen together to the teaching of God's Word.

And we've been studying this passage on Miriam, and God's been speaking to our hearts.

And after the last session, we took some moments just to pray and to praise and to thank the Lord for his mercy and his kindness to us in forgiving us of our sins.

Miriam sinned greatly and the consequences were great. And we sin greatly and the consequences are great. But we're so thankful for the blood of Jesus, God's Son, that washes us from sin.

And we just had a real sweet time of singing and praying and thanking the Lord, confessing

as well, and being reminded that today we don't have to go through all that stuff they had

to in the Old Testament with the birds being killed and the sacrifices being offered

and the regimen and the routines.

It's a picture of what Christ has done for us on the cross.

And because it is finished his work on the cross, we go to the cross.
