I am so glad to be here. I really appreciate the invitation. Oh, I'm looking forward to this.

We're going to talk about a topic that I don't know if it's often talked about in the way that I hope that we will be able to talk about it.

But before we jump into that, I really would love for our audience to get to know you a little bit more. So can you just share a little bit about yourself and what you do? And I'd love to hear if there is like a favorite book that you have read recently. We were just talking about some of our favorite books this morning in the office. And so I thought it'd be fun to hear if there is a book that you've been enjoying lately. Oh, it's going to be hard to tell you about myself, not that you've asked

to tell you. We'll get back to that. Okay. So I am a pastor. I pastor Edgefield Church in Nashville,

Tennessee, where a city center congregation, been around since

the 1860s and still kicking by God's grace. I am married to Lindsay, my childhood sweetheart,

and we have three boys who are 14, 12, and 8 who are just a delight and a lot of work and a gift from the Lord. I studied, I prepared and

trained as an academic and then decided to seek pastoral industry after that was done rather than

a teaching job. And I've been glad about that choice ever since. I love to be a pastor and get to

try to help my friends see the relevance

of Jesus to their lives. That's what I do with my time. And it's a precious church. So if you

recently. I mean, are you thinking like encouraging Christian books or just interesting books overall? Interesting books. So we were talking about, I was talking about Project Hail Mary. I'm listening to that book right now in audio, which is like not a Christian book. So it can be any book that you've been reading. All right. I'm going to give you two. I'm going to give you one Christian book that's highly recommended and brand new. And then I'm going to give you one novel that I just read that I really loved.
