Welcome to How Did We get Weird. So, Jonah, do you remember my all-female sketch comedy and musical parody troupe in college called Bloomers?

I do remember because you still probably mention it pretty much almost

every time you talk to someone. I know. I'm so surprised I haven't talked about it more on this

podcast. I am shocked because I feel like it was like an inside joke when you were on S&L. Like

people were always asking you about Blumers because he talked about so much. Right. Totally. And in

every other job I've ever had. Now, you came to a bloomer show once.

Yeah, I came to one at University of Pennsylvania. I vaguely remember sitting in like an

auditorium and watching it. Yeah, that seems like it really made an impression on you.

Now, one sketch that I would say my biggest sketch that I want our podcast audience to know about was called

cardboard with a hole in it. And I believe I wrote it on an airplane with our dad. And it was a

sketch where me and a co-host played home shopping hosts and we sold a piece of cardboard with a

hole in it. And I was a freshman when I wrote it.

And I remember I was so adamant about it being the perfect sketch that, again, even though I was a freshman, I had the director and everyone.

We cast someone to play my co-host.

And I was instantly like, this person isn't right.

And we went through like almost everybody in the cast

auditioning like to play the co-host, again, the home shopping co-host until we cast my still good

friend Ariana Jackson because she really hit it out of the park. So it would be me and Ariana selling this
