special guest, video essayist, author, and now book editor, Jacob Geller.

How's editing a book?

We launched a website.

It was fun, but it sucked.

And that was a website.

Basically, that's a page, a couple pages.

Oh, we're always adding pages, Rob.

Don't, you know.

Many of the pages look strikingly similar to the other pages.

Oh, look, here's the thing.

It's like making a YouTube video is an almost entirely

individual experience so this is like one of the first times in my kind of

professional video game life that I've worked with like a team of people.

So it's kind of great. Like I now get to like have my work checked by other people before it goes out into the world, which is a kind of new and exciting

experience for me. That is true and you know what having like every time I

touch like audio or video editing I do find I'm sure you get better with it

I'm sure it becomes like second nature but I do just find the process a little fussy and excruciating in a way that like page layout from what I remember of like high school journalism and you know doing things

adjacent to that that can be fun and satisfying there's a lot of different

like ways that can go it's not there's a little more like how do I aesthetically
