God and His Grace had allowed me to see my need.

My helplessness.

That old idol being independent, capable, and in control, and competent, remained elusive

during this season.

Instead of relying on myself and my own expertise, I was forced to allow others to step into my mess and help me.

It was humbling, but it was also healing.
