I'm guest hosting the show today since Dan Barker and Annie Laurie Galore are in Germany this week for the international celebrating dissent

conference and event that the Freedom from Religion Foundation is co-sponsoring that deals with the

difficulties of dissenting from religion, especially in Muslim-dominated countries. When they

return, they will surely tell us all about it. Grant Blashka, with

Audio for the Arts, is engineering today's show in the Stephen Yule friendly atheist studio,

in Freethought Hall, the National Offices of the Freedom from Religion Foundation in good old

Madison, Wisconsin. The freedom from Religion Foundation works to keep state and church separate and to

educate the public about the views of non-theists.

That's atheists, agnostics, secular humanists, and other non-religious individuals.

We have about a dozen full-time attorneys,

legal fellows and interns filing lawsuits and amicus briefs, writing letters of complaint

to government officials on behalf of our members who want to keep religion out of government.
