So welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am blessed to be outside.

It's 27 degrees, but we're praying in front of a wonderful bonfire I'm here gathered with

120 fantastic men at the fire retreat we're gonna pray the Rosary So let's begin in the name of the Father and the

son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Let's call to mind all those that we've promised to pray for.

Now we are told that we should surrender everything to God and rely only on Him.

But what does that really mean?

Reliance on God is captured in four words in the Our Father.

Thy will be done. We rely on God when we do his will.

Now we can break this down into five parts.

First, reliance on God means making it our priority to spend time in friendship with Jesus through daily

meditation. Taking time to read or listen to the word of God that comes to us in

scripture, the Saints and the Church, and

then to think it over, to conform your way of thinking to God's, and then to make a simple concrete resolution to put God's way of thinking into practice.

Now if we won't do this, then we are relying on ourselves and not God because we want our will and not his

Our Father who art in heaven hallow would be name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

He bless us this day our daily great and forgive us our trespasses, and as we forgive those who dress

against us and lead us not into the dictation,

but deliver us from equal.
