Welcome to the Storytellers Live podcast, where everyday women share real and personal stories of encounters with God.

And it's our prayer at Storytellers Live that you would meet God in a new way through these stories,

that you would know you aren't alone and that you can discuss these stories

with friends so that walls are broken down and community is built.

Before we start today's story, I want to take a minute and address all that's happening

in our country and around the world.

You may have noticed on social media that storytellers live took a break this week.

We really paused to listen to our black friends in our communities

and hear their stories and hear what they have to say. As a ministry, we're looking for stories

that always represent our country as a whole and we look forward to learning and growing together.

And we thought it would be really fun this summer to give you a few stories that are in the Bible study.

And so we can talk about it a little bit and you can know what's coming.

And the first one, we are going to start with.

It's Katie, because we love her and she's a part of our team, but also because Katie wrote the Bible study.

Oh, I'm so excited. I really am. This has been a labor of love for quite some time. And anyway, I'm excited for everybody to get it in their hands.

But I'm also excited for people to hear my story. I actually spoke a little over a year ago.

So for some of you who may be new to storytellers, you might not have heard my story. It really

is about trusting God with your children, but more importantly, it's really just about

trusting God, letting go of control and trusting him. And so I really hope you get something
