Today's story was shared by Ingram at our Bustavia Alabama gathering.

She talks about leaning on God

and his provision during years of financial strain. You know, I've always had a subconscious

belief that you naturally make more money as you get older, but that's not always the case.

And while I did know that kids are expensive, no one warns you that costs constantly increase as they get older.

So what many of us find and what Ingram shares is that budgeting can be a challenging,

ever-changing process that requires us to continually exercise gratitude and also continually evaluate

where we're placing our security, pride, and worth.

Whether it's explaining to your kids for the 10th time why you can't take them skiing,

we're working on a plan with your spouse to chisel down a mountain of debt.

Financial pressures can lead to stress, anxiety attacks, depression, marital tension,

and so much more.

Ingram's story highlights what it looks like to humbly depend on God when in need

and be satisfied in him when in want.
