Yeah, sorry, we're picking up with glee four of our wisdom for work from the

Psalms devotion on the Bible app. There's a link to that in the description if you guys want to

follow along with us and as always I'm going to read the scripture then Torres

going to pick with the devo.

Let's do it.

The scripture is Psalms chapter 90 verse 17 and it says this

and may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts

successful. The devotional says this. Psalm 90 is the only Psalm that credits Moses as its author.

It's not surprising that Moses concludes his Psalm with these words.

Establish the work of our hands.

As he prayed a similar prayer six times

in the book of Deuteronomy alone.

Why was this such a frequent prayer of Moses?

First, I think Moses understood that this prayer is a practical way of

reminding ourselves that God alone produces results through our work. In Deuteronomy 818 Moses said that it is God who gives

you the ability to produce wealth. How do we remind ourselves of that truth?

By joining Moses and praying the words of Psalm 90.
