Thank you. It's great to be here with you. We've had a great time in

Alaska and I had a great privilege of teaching this morning and then I heard hey you could

do something different tonight.

So I might have a sermon.

We'll find out in about an hour when this is all over.

What I do have is an idea, something

I've been thinking about, praying about, studying about, and I thought I'd share it with you and at the end you could tell me if it was helpful so if you've got a Bible go to Proverbs chapter one and I'll pray

Father God thank you so much for an opportunity to be here with some new friends in Alaska.

Thank you for the hospitality, the grace, the kindness that's been extended to my wife.

Grace and I thank you that we could get her birthday weekend away in such a

beautiful place with such kind people.

We pray for your blessing, your provision, your kindness on this church.

And Lord God, we pray for all the churches that love and serve you in this greater area of Anchorage and beyond throughout this great state of Alaska.

And Father, we thank you for the scriptures.

We invite you Holy Spirit to allow us to understand them and that you would empower me to teach them and

we ask for wisdom, the kind of wisdom that would help us to follow in the footsteps
