We go say that money. We go say that money. So we're going to say that money. Hello and welcome back to the deeper than money. Today we're going to dive into relationships

and money. I was asked this week inside our wealth accelerator program. I did

a TWA live, which is where I go live in the program and answer questions and talk through

strategies, all the things. And I had a question from someone who basically

said, hey, I'm single right now, but I've been in relationships. Like every relationship I've been in

previously has felt not equal when it comes to splitting finances and splitting, you know,

workload of other things. And now that I'm single, what are some ways that I can prepare

for a future potential relationship and prepping for a relationship that feels more equal

financially and in other regards. So a couple things.

One, I like to joke that I've gotten my PhD in dating losers. So I feel fully prepared to have

this conversation. And I was someone who is now in such a healthy and happy relationship.

I can't even articulate how big of an impact your partner is on your life, on your mental

health, on everything about you. And choosing a partner is, I would argue, the biggest

financial decision you'll ever make. And when I say that, I don't mean like, don't date someone

who isn't have a trust fund. Like, I don't mean that whatsoever. I just mean that when you're entering into that partnership,

not only are you impacted by that person's finances, but your finances are impacted by being with

that person. And that can be for good. That can be, you can have a negative impact on that. And again, I don't mean just financially.
