I'm excited to show you an app I've been using for a while. It's called Kalshi and it's the first legal exchange

where you can trade on any event. As of October, they've got approval to list the first regulated markets

on the outcome of elections. They have markets on who will win the

presidential election, who will control the House and Senate, who will win

swing states. They also have markets on inflation, interest rates, Oscars,

Billboard Top 100,

video games, and more.

Let's walk through a market and place a trade on the outcome of the election.

Let's say you think Kamala will win,

you can currently buy them winning for 50 cents. So you can buy a hundred shares at

50 cents each, so that's $50 for a hundred shares. If you are right, you will get $100 back

and double your money. You can also sell early if their odds of winning go up to say 70%.

You can sell for 70% each and locked in $70. If you don't want to trade, you can also

look at the live odds to see who is more likely to win the race.

Kolshi is the first legal exchange in the US to trade on these kind of events.

The election markets are now live to trade and they are the first regulated place where you can do this.
