For a couple of weeks, we've been focusing on healing after rejection.

Today, we continue with a guest that you will adore.

Lisa Turkhurst says her father told her repeatedly that he never wanted to have children

and especially not a girl.

And amazingly, that is not the hardest rejection she's faced.

There is so much to learn together, so here we go.

Well, we have been talking about the pain of rejection and how everyone faces it.

But the thing that keeps us talking about this is the fact that there is healing from those wounds,

that God understands and he loves us so much

and he cries with us when we cry and he's right there to say, child, not only I'm sorry,

but I have this gift for you as you've walked through this. And so with rejection, I'd love to define it a little bit as we do this. Because we've talked

about some of our experiences and we have many more experiences to share about this. But when you

talk about what rejection is, it can come in so many different forms.

It slips into our lives from so many different angles.

So how would you guys define what rejection has been in your life?
