0:26.0	And I want to talk about this today because I think that we often stay in the same role,
0:30.0	in the same niche, or even the same business longer than we should because we don't want to let anybody down
0:35.3	or deal with the possible repercussions of change and or like you know that feeling of I'm starting over again
0:41.6	but let me tell you that staying in the same spot when it is no longer
0:45.3	serving you or who you are right now or where you want to be, well, I believe you're playing small,

0:53.0	A bit ago I spoke at the Expander's retreat and a woman raised her hand and she said that she was
0:57.2	a photographer and wanted to know how I pivoted from being a photographer to, well, she didn't know how to quite describe me and I get it.
1:06.4	Here's why. I went from being a photographer to starting an online store for photography, digital
1:11.1	resources and then I created online courses and then I created a membership and then
1:15.4	I began traveling the world as a speaker and as an educator and then I turned the
1:18.8	membership into a SAS company with our own text deck and then I started a successful business
1:23.5	podcast and like no wonder! No wonder she didn't know how to like quite finish that
1:28.0	sentence and here's the craziest part. Every time I pivoted people had lots of opinions about it.
1:33.4	Like, why was I changing?
1:35.0	Why didn't I just stay and do what I've always been doing?
1:37.7	And then I quickly realized that when I changed,
1:41.3	their questions had less to do with me
1:43.6	and more to do with their lack of change.
