My guest is Patricia Nance. Professor Dr. Patricia Nance has been president of the European

University Institute in Florence since March 2024. Before that, she has served as director

of the Research Institute for Sustainability in Potsdam and the funding director of the

Franco-German Forum for the future.

She has studied philosophy at the Munich School of Philosophy and History and Literary Studies as well as Philosophy at universities in Munich, Milan, Montreal and Frankfurt

Reimmein. She is also trained as a journalist and worked as editor for S. Fisher-Fallag

in Frankfurt and Felcinellinelli editorial in Milan.

Have there been a research at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods in Bonn and Mary Curie Fellow at Westminster University in London? She's been Professor of Political Theory at the

University of Bremen and the University of Potstab. She's also been a fellow of the Institute

for Advanced Study in Berlin and visiting professor

at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT.
