The This week we're trying something a little different. As many of you know the

Q3 course for premium members is on energy healing and so I'm thinking what can I do with

the podcast to kind of support and and co-explore those kind of topics so we're

beginning this week with a series of energy healing dialogues with

different practitioners from different modalities. And some of you will be very

familiar with fellow Newcastle boy, Lance Baker, and we will be here

talking principally about Reiki. But Lance, this is great. We're from the same town and it's the first time we've done this in person.

Yes, you had just said it was weird to hear your voice out of a mouth rather than the speaker.

Exactly, I mean at the moment you work pretty much down the hill, so when we arrange this, you were sort of,

you're a five minute drive from your last client up here, which is weird, very convenient.

Other than my actual mother, whose room we're in for people who are unaware,

premium members will have seen it, but this is her meditation room.

Other than my mother, I think that's like the most geographically proximate guest ever. So there we go. Anyway, welcome aboard sir. Thank you for having

you. Absolutely. So Reiki I think is actually the best one to start these dialogues on because a lot of people know a little

bit about Reiki.

And which is good and bad.

And so I guess this is a fairly obvious one to start with,

but what is Reiki?

Reiki, it's an energy healing thing that, as you said is the most well known.

It's often referred to as ancient which is absolutely rubbish.

It's a hundred years old. My grandma's sister is older than Reiki.
