The long reign of King Aegon, the first Targaryen, when AC through 37 AC, was by and large

a peaceful one in his later years, especially.

But before the dragon's peace, as the last two decades of his kingship were later called

by the masters of the citadel, came the dragon's wars, the last of which was cruel and bloody

a conflict as ever fought in Westeros.

Though the wars of Concuss were said to have ended when Aegon was crowned and anointed

by the High Septon and the Starry Septa of Old Town, not all of Westeros had yet submitted

to his rule.

Duh, dun, dun, duh, trauma, just and we thought it was over.

Wait, do you think it was over?

You're telling me the starry crown of Old Town, when the religious power structure

finally says, okay, you're the person.

Well, okay, let's just say the people that had the previous capital city in the place

that you all were coming and you decided you and your two sisters were like, no one

quite has our vibe or quite has the mind, the organizational mind that we do.

Plus, King's Landing, this new city that we're building, is obviously the best location.

I mean, I know that it's between two neutral territories.

It itself is a neutral territory, so it's not obvious that we should build here.

Is this not an analogy for the whole thing that they're doing in the first place?
